Axon Power & Control supported Omagh Rugbys 7s team The Replacements at the oldest 7s event in Ireland.
The tournament which took place on Saturday 24th April 2010 was divided into three Groups.
In conjunction with the LJH Group, Axon Power & Control were contracted to design and install the control systems automation for an IBA (Incinerator Bottom Ash )processing plant for the Days Group at Brentford England.
The project comprised the design and build of the plant motor control panel, the plant electrical services installation, including power factor correction equipment, and final testing and commissioning of the installed equipment in conjunction with the LJH engineers.
The plant automation was specifically designed to incorporate all aspects of the plant control into one central control system; from this location the operator can monitor the running of the complete plant and all ancillary equipment. Read the rest of this item »

In our efforts to expand the sectors we do business in Axon Power & Control sent key employees to complete the City and Guilds level 3 certificate in wind turbine installation.
The City and Guilds accredited installers course has built a national reputation for quality and content. The course structure included site selection, energy outputs and safety, electrical connections, installation and commissioning.
Upon completion of this course our employees are now Registered Wind Turbine Installers with reia, the Renewable Energy Installer Academy.

Axon employees receiving their Institute of Leadership and Management certificates at a special presentation evening in South West College
In conjunction with South West College Axon Power & Control key employees completed a comprehensive management development programme.
The management training programme was co-ordinated through the InnoTech Centre at South West College Cookstown Campus. Research lecturer, Dr Jill Cush explained,
“South West College has been delighted to work with Axon Power & Control in successfully delivering a high quality, flexible training programme to meet their ongoing staff development needs. An important objective of the College is to facilitate local economic development and this joint programme developed with Axon is an excellent example of the Colleges contribution to increasing the skill levels within the local economy.”
